Default I'm such a cry baby!!!

Hello all

I'm new here - I've been a Saxon fan for 27 years now - I just saw them at the Sonisphere festival at Knebworth this weekend (the last time I saw them I was 15!!!)

I have to say I was moved to tears when I saw them this weekend - it took me right back to my teens (a time when there was nothing else much to worry about apart from getting the right colour cotton to embroider my denim jacket!!!!)

I was at Sonishpere with my 19 year old daughter (she didn't see Saxon because she wanted to be at the front for Lamb of God - on the other stage) so I was just there on my own 10 feet away from Biff, the man who I simply idolised when I was younger - like me, he's got a bit older (a lot older actually) but my god, he can still make some noise - brilliant!!

This band are all about the fans - for me that makes them legends!

Thanks for being there Saxon.

te he - I was there too, I couldn't agree more. I remember embroidering my jacket in the 80's as well...
