I wonder if this is one of the results of the HG program - he did introduce them to Steve Strange and that other guy you saw at the Classic Rock awards..... of course feel free to deny that the program had any benefit in this area too

Oh and it is steve@xraytouring.com as a contact - I'm guessing the Steve Strange introduction by HG paid off then

Definitely - And hopefully it pays off big time for the band.

Well the seeds were sown I think (they take time to grow you know!) and this could be where they start to blossom.

I hope it's the beginning of a new Saxon international touring schedule. I hear they're going to Australia....have to hop across to New Zealand - they'd go down a storm I reckon. No bastard toured there before I left in 1988...only Motorhead and Deep Purple. A few have been since then, but not many.
Cheers

They probably will do things like that - it is an important date in their calendar. The booking agent usually would be approached by interested parties - whether that be other agents or concert promoters - and they hold their master date sheet. The net result of that should be more co-ordination in gig schedules and less cancelled/moved dates - so it should be a good thing in that respect for sure.
