2nd part of uk tour

Was hoping to see more shows booked than 3 for the 2nd part of uk tour,as the album is selling well and in the charts, Not many bands know what a full uk tour is anymore unfortunately, its more like the fans have to do the touring instead, To be fair Saxon have not been guilty of this as they have played many towns and cities lots of other bands don't know exist, More shows far and wide maybe some sports centres would be great. Bring Y+T too please ;)

Husky 02-14-2018 08:55 AM

Paul Quinn's Bandana 02-14-2018 08:58 PM

Thank fook they are playing Manchester! After all, we're always a good audience these days and recently gave them a live album (on which you can hear me call Mr Quinn a genius). :D

Husky 02-15-2018 03:51 PM

Looking forward to see some of you again. :)

Just ordered tickets for London. Hope we can all meet up

Paul Quinn's Bandana 02-17-2018 12:36 PM

Just realised the Manchester gig is at The ACADEMY and not the Ritz!

Seems the boys are becoming more popular!!:D

Although I'll miss the Ritz atmosphere, it'll be great to see the boys on the size of stage they deserve and have worked hard to reclaim since losing their way in the mid to late 80s! :D

midnightrider 02-17-2018 12:41 PM

The Roundhouse is a larger gig too :)

Husky 02-17-2018 02:05 PM

That's nice for the boys they can play in lager locations, but I too love the comfortable, cosy ones. :)
In Frankfurt they play in an size M.:D
Have seen them here in both, lager and smaller ones.
And YES...have ordered my ticket for London and hotel booked.:D

papadoc 02-17-2018 03:20 PM

London ticket booked. Will be my first time at the Roundhouse, so looking forward to it.

Roll on next Friday, my first Saxon fix of the year in Cardiff. :)

Grizzly 02-17-2018 03:57 PM

Yep, London tickets booked too.

Already seen The Darkness and Amon Amarth at The Roundhouse. It's a nice venue.

shane 02-17-2018 10:29 PM

I must organize a ticket for the London show. This time next week I'll be seeing them in Cambridge, looking forward to that.

Beggz 02-26-2018 11:09 PM

Been a fan since '82 & FINALLY getting round to seeing them for the 1st time in Glasgow :):):)

saxonthegreat 02-27-2018 05:10 AM

Just hoping there's extra shows added besides the ones with y+t already announced, Would be great if Saxon could get a few other bands like Ambush, Running Wild, and UDO, for some of the shows too ;)

Gearing up for this evening. It's gonna be epic, I can feel it in me bones.

Anyone know the reasons behind the change in support? My ticket says Y&T, but now I see it's FM...

One of the members of Y&T is recovering from a back injury and didn't want to agrivate it anymore, so they had to pull out.

lionessheart 10-20-2018 04:17 PM

Thanks to Saxon for a cracking show at the London Roundhouse last night. They didn't Missa beat, even when the stage lights went out during Strangers In The Night - mobile phone lights came to the rescue!

Loved hearing Motorcycle Man. Great crowd as well!

Husky 10-21-2018 02:25 PM

Yes, again it was a brilliant Saxon show and a really nice venue. :)
Had a good time with some nice people. ;):
All of you who see SAXON in Manchester tonight, enjoy.

Grizzly 10-21-2018 11:05 PM

Agreed, it was another epic gig from the lads.
