There is an Estate Agent around here called Saxons.

Not that I have rushed out to buy a house you understand.

Regarding the beer; much as I would love to drink from a can with Saxon written on it, you just cant beat a pint of Woodfordes Wherry in my book :)

I've had it before, or at least a smilarly named beer.

They have it on tap at a pub near Dublin. Tasted pretty good as I remember.

well for your money my friend you are getting 9, yes 9 rolls of 2 ply tissue with an average of around 240 'sheets' per roll. I would say the quality is above average versus similar priced brands on the market. And with the soft tissue market being the way it is, on the back of the package it states you have the option to return the product if you are not completely satisfied.

There was a Saxon beer in Finland too, different to the mentioned one and by finnish brewery. It must have been five to ten years ago. I have an ad and several (empty) bottles as well as a bottle top or two. The cool thing was that the logo was very close to Saxon logo with big S included. Too bad I couldn't find a pic from the net but I'm sure you'll love it when you see it. I try to find a camera, try to use it and take a pic of the bottle for you all to see.

I've seen it too, but it's no regular beer, it's gluten free I think :) how that changes the taste, i don't know!

never had it. Never had gluten free beer. I like my beer to have gluten if it is supposed to have it. :)

I remember someone once bought me a pair of (white!) socks because they were made by Saxon. (Not, I assume, Biff and the boys!)

And then of course, there's also the clothing label "One True Saxon".
