I'm late, but I'm very busy at moment. Virgin Steele played at Thunder Road in Codevilla (Pavia) on 27th April 2007.

Before the gig Pursino and DeFeis was disposaible to meet the fans. I took pictures and they autographed all my booklets. They are really two funny and kind persons, though in a different way: Pursino is calm, meanwhile DeFeis is sprightly. The best thing was they were happy to stay with us and they have no hurry (for instance a guy talked with them nearly 15/20 minutes).

Here is the tracklist:
01)Snakeskin in Voodoo Man
02)Bonedust
03)The Wine Of Violence
04)Don't say Goodbye (Tonight)
05)Vow of Honour
06)Defiance
07)Wings of Vengeance
08)Child Of Desolation
09)God Of Our Sorrows
10)Chloe dancer (by Mother love bone)/Purple Rain (by Prince)
11)God above God
12)We are eternal
13)When Dusk Fell
14)Lion in winter
15)A Whisper of Death
16)Emalaith
17)The Marriage of Heaven and Hell Theme/Burning of Rome
18)Perfect Mansions

It was a marvellous and magic gig. DeFeis is a great frontman and he moves like a flamenco gypsy dancer. To be honest some Virgin song in this acoustic shape seems to me flamenco! And it was great (for instance Defiance)!!
Both DeFeis and Pursino (called by DeFeis "Eduardo" in order to "italianize" his name! Anyway Eduardo is Spanish, in Italian is Edoardo) were very happy and ever smiling! It was a very special event and was interesting listen to alternative version of great metal songs.

Before DeFeis/Pursino gig there was a a brilliant (as DeFeis himself stated) Iron Maiden tribute band, Clarvoyants.
Here is the tracklist:
01)Aces high
02)The Trooper
03)Flight of Icarus
04)Revelations
05)Brave New World
06)The Reincarnation of Benjamin Breeg
07)Journey through the Stars (the only original track)
08)Wasted Years
09)The Wicker Man
10)Wrathchild
11)The Number of the Beast
12)The Evil that Men do
13)Fear of the Dark
14)Iron Maiden (incl. Highway to Hell by AC/DC and Seek & Destroy by Metallica)
15)Hallowed be thy Name
