The video for Lionheart is by far the best Saxon video ive seen, top quality, really well made.

The problem is the only place where it is on the limited edtion bonus dvd on lionheart.

Bos, with all due respect I disagree with you. I think the song is cool but the premise of the video isn't but to me honest, I think the at the end of the day the SONG not the VIDEO will sell at least for me.

Saxon doesn't tour the states much becasue they can't make much money and that for me, is very sad. I love'em andwish they'd tour more here but I don't know if they have alot of money to spend or would want to on a video?

What i meant is that if theyre gonna get airplay on kerrang, scuzz or MTV 2 they need to have a proper well made video.

The video's fine by me,and to all other saxon fans im sure, but if they want the single to be successful they need a good video so they can get tv airplay.

Personally I like the video, its trying to get the message of the song through (gun and knife crime!). A live video just wouldn't do that.

Putting it out on You Tube before the website? Who knows I guess the director has done that not the band, but You Tube is HUGE and rightly or wrongly more commercially sucessful bands are using You Tube for their own gain so why not Saxon?

Plus I'm biased as I saw the filming in Berlin - Cheers again all involved.

One thing to remark about Saxon videos in YouTube is the great amount of them uploaded by spanish fans! I'd have to check it, but I think I've attended, at least, 3 of the live shows whose videos you've linked.

Zapatero was born in León, not Valladolid (and there's always been a certain rivalry -a stoopid one, indeed- as Valladolid is Castilla's capital & León is the capital of the region of the same name, which includes Salamanca and Zamora, although Castilla-León is an administrative invention, reuniting 2 different regions and Valladolid is "the head" of it all. This is why some leonés can feel angry if you call Zapatero "castellano"). Some Geography in the Forum ;)

Sorry, I've made a mistake... but not such a big one!
I've just checked it and this is the explanation:
All his family was from León, except his grandfather, who was a paediatrician in Valladolid, and his mother came here to give him birth, and took him back to León in a few days. This is why everyone here in Spain takes him as a leonés, because he lived, studied, made his political career, etc. there.
(He is "accidentaly" from Valladolid, as his grandfather wanted to take care of his birth)
